2009 Season a Success

• On behalf of Willamette Valley Pop Warner League, we would like to thank all the players, coaches, officials, parents and fans for a great year. In the coming months, the league will be meeting as a whole and discuss takeaways from this year and possible changes for next year. If you would like to send a comment, please click here. While all comments will be reviewed, we must look at the league and state as a whole when implementing changes.

Turf Field Use Reminder

• This message is for all teams (players, coaches, officials and fans) - The following items are banned from ALL turf fields:
  • Alcoholic Beverages, Glass Containers, All Tobacco products, dogs (not allowed inside stadium gates), SUNFLOWER SEEDS, gum, peanut shells and metal cleats.

Rob Comer - "RC - Strength & Courage"

• Who is Rob Comer? Rob has been a Board Member for almost as long as Willamette Valley Pop Warner has existed. He has volunteered countless hours for the organization. We are all very thankful for his time and energy that he has given for the kids.
• Rob was not only a son, brother, husband, father, coach and co-worker - he was a great friend.
• Rob has battled cancer for the past 4 years, and today he lost that battle.
• The Board of Directors for Willamette Valley Pop Warner would like to wish the Comer Family the best during their time of need ~ all of our prayers are with you!
• Effective immediately the annual Jamboree that starts our season off will be known as the "Comer Jamboree".

• All calls must go through the area rep or Association President. To help facilitate this, WVPW has launched a phone system that allows you to leave a message for your high school area. Simply dial 607-4153 to access our phone system and listen to the instructions to get connected to your area's voicemail box. All voicemail's are emailed to the Area Rep/Association Presidents.
• You can always contact us by email, but remember please go through the Area Rep or Association President prior to emailing any member of the Board of Directors. For a complete listing of email addresses, click on the Board of Directors link in the left menu.

• Sportsmanship tickets should be directed to the "Coaching and Sportsmanship" committee. These type of tickets would include blow-out concerns, official concerns and coaching concerns.
